We’re a church all about loving Jesus.
We’re a diverse church learning to follow Jesus in the 21st century. At Brooklake, you’ll find surprisingly normal people who are admittedly still in process. Our goal isn’t to pretend we’re perfect, but to point you to the one who is.
Everyone is welcome.
Seriously. We’d be honored if you joined us this Sunday, no strings attached.
Everyone has a next best step.
You won’t find any grace-graduates here. We’re all taking next steps in our walk with Jesus.
Everyone can make a difference.
Your life matters. God made you on purpose. No matter what your story is, you have something to contribute.
What's the most important thing I should know about Brooklake?
We are all in on the Gospel. The Gospel of Jesus is Good News and we have the joy of living in that Good News and sharing it with each other and our neighbors. The Gospel is God’s story, as recorded in the Bible, revealing who Jesus was and still is.
What about Leadership & Finances?
Our church's leadership structure is made up of three groups: The Core (members who actively give of their time and finances to make sure we remain healthy and on mission). The Board of Trustees (select members of the Core) who provide counsel and accountability regarding finances. And The Leadership Team, led by Pastor Scott Harris.
When did Brooklake begin?
In 1969, a core group of people began gathering in Federal Way. From their commitment to each other, to prayer, and to seeing the worship of God in our city expand, Brooklake Church was birthed.
What kind of stuff do you believe?
Generally speaking, we hold to traditional and historic Christian beliefs. Click the "Our Beliefs" button above to learn more. Read our statement of faith here.
